THROES is a crushing Boise, Idaho, based band formed in 2014. Drawing on sludge, metallic hardcore, and doom-steeped aggression, THROES has carved out a reputation for relentless heaviness and visceral live performances. Their upcoming record, The Colorless Light of Emptiness (due Fall 2026), finds the band further exploring themes of loss, grief, self-hatred, corruption, climate collapse, and human fragility. The new material continues their tradition of confronting bleak emotional landscapes through dissonant punishing sonic intensity.
